ALERT:
Gusty northwest winds up to 30 mph combined with the weight of
the several, to locally 8 to 12 inches of heavy wet snow that
fell across the Susquehanna Valley and Western Poconos overnight
and early today, could cause branches or whole trees to fall.
This could lead to downed power lines and power outages in
some places.
The wind will gradually decrease tonight, and much of the snow
will fall or melt from the tree limbs, reducing the threat for
falling trees and branches.
